I have about 14 people who want to go karting after work one day. Does anyone know someone near or in sheffield that we can go to and that doesnt shut to early - we will be going straight from work so will get there about 5

Parkwood Karting. (http://www.parkwoodkarting.com/) We hired it a couple of months back for 20 odd people, 6pm till 9pm.

Yeah, very quick in the dry, and great fun trying to hold it in the corners when it rained. Their karts will apparently do up to 50mph, and theres a nice long straight at the start of the track to try and prove it on. We did it in teams of 3, and just did 20 laps then changed drivers. Think we got about 200 laps in over 2 hours altogether. Would have probably been more if it had stayed dry.

theres an indoor track at avago karting swinton near mexborough not been for awhile but had several good nights there

another one is Langer near Notts, i won there aswell

slh is right, Parkwood is great. A long straight with a hair pin at the bottom makes for some good fun.
