You never learn do you, remember the last thread you started gloating about Manu not having won the game by half time?

IT would seem not so here it is to remind you (http://www.sheffieldforum.co.uk/showthread.php?t=189255), that game really didn't finish how you hoped did it?

The moral of the story is: start gloating when the games almost certainly won or even better finished.

Only a complete moron does so in the first half with a single goal lead against a team that's playing well.

Another gritty, hard fought, quality packed win by Man U.
Its hard to admit this but, you deserve it. Well done

Incidentally United made that comeback with 4 first choice players out due to injury.

Out of the top 4 it looks like Liverpool have the strongest squad at the minute. The subs they brought on would be the envy of a lot of Prem clubs. Quality of goals outshone Man Utd's today and NO diving from Gerrard!
We just scraped it at Watford whilst Man Utd had a few dummies chucked out of the pram. That supporter that Ferdinand belted with the ball should sue!!
Predictions for next week CL :-
Man Utd - Don't rely on rebounds for goals.
Chelsea - Need to improve, a lot.
Liverpool - Should walk it.

Are you sure about this? The Manu side which took Blackburn apart yesterday was missing 3 1st team defenders & our 1st choice backup for Vidic and our first choice striker. How many other sides could have put in a performance like that with so many injuries in one area or even when at full strength?

Quality of goals outshone Man Utd's today
How about the quality of the overall performance? United were unstoppable today in the second half.

and NO diving from Gerrard!
I take it you missed him do his usual platoon re-enactment after he stood on Diaby's foot?

I did say "At the Minute", Liverpool played excellent in "Both" halves, Must have been fo a wee when Gerrard did that. Come on  Give credit when credits due, I support Chelsea but admit Watford deserved a point yesterday.

What about the quality of the opposition?
Liverpool were playing Arsenal, not Blackburn. Liverpools "first team", totally dismantled Arsenals "first team", in both half's.

I love these anti-man utd threads I really do.. because they are such a joke they are untrue now.

You are HOPING, HOPING for a miracle - that chelsea start to improve on what for them has been a crap season so far - they ARE NOW going to lose their premiership crown to us and I still think Mourinho will be off in the summer, possibly to real.

For people to say that we have been lucky this season is a joke as well -and to say we 'rely on rebounds' as well .. totally nuts.

Roll on the chelsea game - because if it comes down to us having to win that one to win the title, we will TEAR them apart... with the spirit and form the players are in at the moment especially ronnie - chelsea dont have a change methinks... and especially when they are having to rely on late winners yet again to scrap some points playing catch up.

AND lets remind ourselves shall we - we still BEAT liverpool TWICE this season - giving you a whipping at Old Trafford and then you played better than us and STILL lost to us.

Whatever chelsea fans want to say - or in mourinho's case again this morning 'moaning about the fixtures' - the title is coming back to Manchester.

Man U at Anfield, then the late Ronnie goal recently springs to mind.
Having said that, over the coarse of the season, Man U do deserve to win the league, and as i said previously, well done.

Man Utd have been a bit lucky in that Chelsea have had tons of injuries and they've had hardly any. Other than that, you can't really complain though.

Amongst others United have had to cope with injuries to Smith, Silvestre, Neville, Saha, Vidic, Evra, Heinze, Park, Van der Sar... is that 'hardly any'?

Chelsea's injuries hurt them because Mourinho decided to try his experiment with a small squad, if Ferguson had done the same United wouldn't have been able to cope half as well with having 4 defenders (3 of them 1st team) out injured on Saturday.

To be honest I had resigned myself to the fact that Chelsea blew the Premiership when they had those 3 draws in a row losing themselves 6 points.
I would love them to win CL, but on recent form they will have to improve a lot. Getting a last minute equaliser against a hard working Watford is not very convincing when Valencia is looming on Wed. And I don't think for a minute that it will lure Valencia into a false sense of security.
Man Utd have the Prem locked up,which is fine. Chelsea won it 2 seasons in a row, Arsenal before that etc, etc. What I would like to see is less of a dominant 4 and more pressure from the middle of the table, or else it is going to end up, If it already hasn't already, like the Scottish Premier with 2 dominant clubs.
As for Chelsea's last fixture with Man Utd, that's a different story.

i hate man utd............

this said, manchester deserve the title this season, by far the best team in the prem. chelski have won lots of games by the odd goal or two but manchester have just steamrolled teams (arsenal exempt)

Conversely, as a United fan, I am bricking it.

I have actually mentally written off the game at Stamford Bridge as a defeat.
Not because I think you are better than us, its just easier to think that way.

If Chelsea drop any more points, its all over.
I see them like a juggernaut though.
Boring, dull, but relentless.

United as a sports car. Exciting, but if one of the vehicles is going to end up on the hard shoulder its the sports car!!
Ronaldo injury - Blown head gasket!

And the juggernaut steams on by...

I see Spurs have to play Chelsea 38 hours after coming off the pitch in SEVILLE!!
Thats hardly fair.

stat time: Uniteds goal difference is higher than Liverpools total goals scored, in fact it's higher than everybody other than Chelsea's goals scored.

That's shocking. I have to be back at work tomorrow morning 16 hours after leaving the office today and I don't get paid £50k a week for it. Those poor little lambs having to play 2 football matches in a week.....my heart bleeds!

I suspect Guderian's complaint was that the short break will give Chelsea a considerable advantage in having fresher players than Spurs rather than that the players were being overworked or otherwise maltreated.

Yea, this is one of the crapest seasons we've had in the last 20 years.

... you do realise that 72 points at this stage of the season is far from crap. And how about 4 seasons ago when you finished 6th?? (and the year before that)

I agree that I'm fed up with seeing anti-man utd threads all over the internet; granted we've spent alot of money on players, but Chelsea are something else. It's like having a cheat on Champ Manager to get unlimited funds, Chelsea should be winning the title and imo Mourinho is overrated.

You should know enough about football to realise that it doesn't matter how well you play as long as you win, hence the 2nd time we played Liverpool we still won. Consistency is the reason Man Utd are where they are now, and we've been playing the best football in the league.

The reason why Chelsea and Man Utd are well above the rest is simply Drogba and Ronaldo; without those two neither team would be enjoying such a comfortable position.
