My daughter goes to a dance class at the United Reform Church on Carlton Road (just off Middlewood Road). I think they do beginners classes. She goes on Thursday evening, so if you call in then there should be someone there.

Try Ecco Dance School on Burton street. Amanda does all different types of dancing for children, beginners welcome :)

Do they not have posters up in or outside the church? Maybe you could ask at the dance shop at Southey, they might know.

Isn't there still a dance school on Moonshine Lane across from the waterworks in the church - I used to do tap and ballet when I was a little girl - years ago - but as far as I know, they're still doing them? You could also try Hillsborugh Leisure centre - I think that they might do them too.

Yeah thats the church im on about, gonna have a walk up and see if theres anything about it there, thanks again for your replies.

Allstars dance school is at southey methodist church. Lesa is the dance teacher there, they do freestyle dance (also some line dancing too).
Classes are held every wednesday 5-6pm for beginners, 6-7pm for the more advanced.
For first class little ones just need some trainers and jog pants also make sure hair is tied back.

Try City-Limits Dancentre, we have over 30 kids classes running per week with competition classes running too. Our kids have recently won solo, pairs and team events at the North of England Street Dance Championships!
