its just re-opened in the last couple of months,i uses to be dj there in the early 90's,it was very dodgey then but i don't know about now.

It is listed in the Sheffield CAMRA real ale guide as being the only pub in that neck of the woods the serves hand pulled.

that suprises me...maybe an independant brewary as took it over,it was shut for about 2 years so someone might have gotr it for next to nowt.....bit like the mulberry at the moment,but no ones interested

I used to go out with a girl who lived in the flats previously next door to the Byards Leap. Not sure what happened to her cos it was over 10 years ago so I'm hoping she got out ok before it was knocked down. :D

Only went in the Byards Leap once but it looked well dodgy to me. But then everything looks a bit dodgy when you're 17 and not been in many pubs before.

I'm sure that roof design is going to have someone's eye out one day. ;)
