View Full Version : Petie Puddle and Bailey are poorly.
Birth-Peace 30-03-2007, 11:08 He is a very poorly little puppy.
He has a temperature of 105. He deteriorated very quickly from four this morning and could barely move this morning.
He has been given lots of antibiotics and anti-inflammatories.
So send my baby healing vibes, he is such a little boy and so lovely.
I hate him suffering.
Lindseyw 30-03-2007, 11:10 Poor baby - any idea what's up ?

Do you know whats wrong with him , what did the vet say.
Lots of love for him.

Sending healing vibes to Petie...
What's wrong with him?
Keep your chin up, I'm sure he'll be fine :)
I hope he is better very soon.
Are you managing to get water into him?
We used a syringe with Jynx when she was poorly and squirted water into her mouth.
Birth-Peace 30-03-2007, 12:24 He has lots of different infections, chest, ear and stomach. :(

So if he was an adult male, would it be a 'man cold'?
When did he start the antibiotics, is he starting to improve.
Puppies like kids go downhill fast but also recover very fast.
shihtzumad 30-03-2007, 17:28 Bless him..... sending him loads of love and healing vibes, wishing petie a quick recovery.
Please keep us informed Olliekitten
When tia was a puppy she had the same, but vet said she had pnemiona, i was gutted, and very upset, i was advised to get plenty of tea down her aswell as antibotics. Don't ask me why TEA, but you try anything to make them better again. X X X X X X X To petie
squeakyclean 30-03-2007, 17:33 Poor Petie puddle, and he's only a baby too. I hope he gets well soon.
Here's some healing ((((((hugs))))) Petie
I've been and snuggled Petie (and taken Bailey out for a big walk to allow him some time to sleep in peace) today- and he's obviously feeling a bit sorry for himself.
Poor little man.
Birth-Peace 30-03-2007, 19:28 He has had some steroids too and has really started to pick up now. He has wagged his tail and everything

Yipppeeeee, so glad to hear, thats wonderful news, still sending lots of  to him.
I took him to the vet first thing and he described it as an upper airway infection with a possible secondary infection that could have been viral-related from a lingering previous problem. The injection he got then hadn't really picked him up when olliekitten got home at 4ish, so she took him back. Then he had a steroid injection as they weren't really happy with his condition.
He does seem a fair bit better and is wandering round with the occasional tail-wag, albeit still with a rather glazed expression. His breathing is still a little wheezy, so it will just take some time to get over that I guess.
So we'll keep an eye on him, but at least things are moving in the right direction.

Definatly sounds like man-flu! I'm glad to hear he's feeling better.

purdyamos 31-03-2007, 00:23 Poor lil thing. Is Stagewalker having sympathy pains? :hihi:
How is he doing this morning?
So far he seems much brighter - I think he had a little bit of food earlier, and has at least half a spring back in his step.
The worrying thing is that Bailey is now starting to sound like he's picking something up and has coughed a few times. Hopefully with being a lot bigger he'll shake it off himself, as we can't take him to the vet until Monday (unless it's a real emergency of course).
As far as I know stagewalker is fine - perhaps he's been on his sickbed and too ill to let us know! :)
shihtzumad 31-03-2007, 12:11 Glad to hear he his much brighter today, hope bailey bumble aint starting with it.
Birth-Peace 01-04-2007, 10:50 Bai bai is very poorly too now :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :(

Rich and Purdy, I took to my bed in sympathy with my namesake. I was both weak and yet poor, but, like Petie Puddle, I too am now feeling much brighter.
I too managed to lick my own nuts this morning!
How's that for an improvement?
