Firefox updated itself last week but forward and back buttons now seem to be always greyed out and unusable

Anyone else got this ?

Have gone back to ie :(

I am using 2.0.0.3 with no problems

cheers alchemist - i have a few tool bars but nothing too dodgy - i will try removing and downloading again

Are you using a non-standard theme? That could cause the problem if it hasn't been updated.

no its was a spell checker that wasn't compatible - started in safe mode with all extensions disabled - this was the first one i tried
