Just curious as I was 22 when I got married and quite a few thought I was too young. My mother was 18 !!!!

So what age were you / will you be ??

i was 28, i'm still 28 :) my hubby was/is 31 :)

I will be 24 and my boyfriend will be 29. Amazingly its my/our friends that think 24 is too young rather than our parents!

My hubby was 22 same as me. He is actually a couple of months younger than me but same year at school.

i got married in january 80 as i was 20 in march my hubby was 19 and 20 in may, you seemed to get married earlier in the 80s, i now have three lads 27, 25 & 21 they are courting but not even thinking of marriage, one has his own place 2 still at home.

I will be 35 when we get married next year and hubby to be will be 38. First marriages for both of us and we were obviously waiting for Mr / Mrs Right.:thumbsup:

I was 19 and my husband was 36 the first time round. Second time round, I was 38 and my husband 7 years older.

As has been said in the seventies and eighties, you did tend to get married younger - my sister was 16 but I think that really was a bit on the young side.

I was 23 and hubby was 33, it's our 2nd anniversary in May!

I was 19 when I first married in 1975.far too young but it was not unusual back then. Got married again when I was in my late 20's my husband was 30. now been married for 24 years. Have 3 great kids all early 20's .they are nowhere near getting married. Got lots to do before settling down. Times have changed, we were so set on security and getting a house and a career. Life is short, the world is small, so many opportunities now. Live life to the full, don't worry and enjoy every day.

most people told us it wouldnt last but we were married nearly 34 years until he died last year

We got married this year. I'm 38, he was 35. Looks like I fell off the scale at the 'old' end.

I got married on 16.08.08 and I am 25, my husband is 46.

i got married 14/04/08 both just 21 been together 4 years have a beautiful 2 year old a house and a dog so it was the next logical step, noone told us we were too young everyone was really happy

Well this thread as opened my eyes I thought marriage was died but it seems there are still young couples wanting to marry.

I was 23 and my wife was a year younger, we have just had our silver anniversary

i will be 27, and my fella will be 28. Most of my friends got married between 22-26. sayin that none of my fellas mates are married. Mind you men take longer to mature hahahahahahahah.
