View Full Version : Listening to conversations on a bus

I was going to work yesterday afternoon and was listening to a conversation between two 14 year old boys, they were discussing a girl they both knew and having sex with her, one of the boys said well it was better than doing nothing and he then told the other exactly what they did and that she didn`t realise she had reached an orgasim.

I know there has always been casual sex, but these two boys even degraded casual sex. I feel sorry for young girls and women that fall for boys like this. I use boys because at 14 they think they know all about sex when I am sure they don`t. If they treat a girl as something to do what are they going to treat women like when they eventually grow up.

I have a 10 year old daughter and I worry now, but these boys seem to have no respect for themselves or who their sleeping with, no wonder there are so many underage pregnancys and sexually transmitted diseases about. Just before you wonder I did overhear they had unprotected sex with the girl.

That really does shock me about those two 14 year old boys, it disgusts me really.
At 14 many guys are just coming into puberty and already these two are bragging about sex.

What really annoyed me was they new about sex and yet they choose not to protect themselves or take responsibility for anyone else.

Give it a rest, the girl is probably no better.

rosie

What do you mean give it a rest.
I was listening to boys so obviously I am talking about what they said. I can`t comment about the girl in question she was not there to give her side of the tale.

You don`t often hear girls being so graffic on a bus so everyone can hear.

Are you a parent ?
Don`t you care about the state of underage sex ?

Rosie,

i understand your problems regards this, but chances are these "boys" was probably just bragging about this, and it proably did not ever even occur!!

There is definately a bad situation rlating to under age sex and teenage pregnancies, but to be honest, these lads was probably just trying to make themselves look "big"

But yeah, some lads are actually like this, and i feel for some girls as most are very naive towards this!!

With the graphic way they spoke of what took part, don`t think they were joking.
After talking to my sons, 19 and 15 it does happen.

Apparently where I live at 12 they have an active sex life, what is that saying for their futures and succeding in a healthy relationship with one person later on in life.

I am not saying everyone at 12 has a sex life but even if a small percentage of the children round here have sex at 12 it is a small percentage too much.

Rosie no offence mate but what do you object to the sex or the way they spoke.
boys of that age are sex mad and will brag and embelish any tale to make them sound more competant than they actually are. I had sex when I was thirteen and used to boast about it but it wasnt a nice experience but I told the lads it was great. If it was two forty year olds bragging about it then I would be conserned. espesially if the conversation went like this.
bloke 1: I think girls are ready for sex when they leave school!
Bloke 2: I agree

Much offence taken. I am 41 and let me tell you I discuss sex with other 40+ women and we don`t broadcast it for anyone else to hear because we are adults and not children and we treat sex with the respect it deserves.

Boys of that are sex mad, and you don`t see anything wrong in that, are you now, or will you be a responsible parent or just allow them to have unprotected sex and then talk about their experiences with them oh very mature of you.

I know after having 3 sons that they want to brag about their experiences but they were just nasty in how they discussed what they did and the girl they did it with, it was just because one of the lads had nothing else better to do, has sex really been dragged down to that level.

I am glad I am a responsible parent.

If the boys were 14 it is very likely the girl in question was 14, or even younger. Girls very rarely see boys younger than themselves at that age so it's a safe assumption to make.

You may be a responsible parent although lateral thinking isn't your stong point.
I have a point to make Rosie. Grow up! News just in... two 14yr olds discuss sex... well I never.... Did they really?.... No! ..... DOES IT REALLY MATTER! no!
Heres me thinking that sex is an enjoyable thing..... Clearly not with you!! I bet you make them fill in a questionaire first. And have a plenery session afterwards - Don't you!:gag:

I doubt it very much. I have a 15 year old son and the tales he tells about his school would open a few eyes. And this is not bragging as he's merely taking me into his confidence. And to say boys are worse than girls is ridiculous. On my last 2 visits to Spain the behaviour of young girls was diabolical. They were the ones in large groups, drunk up to the eyeballs and exposing themselves to everyone, not the boys. And the language coming from them was ten times worse then the boys. And most of them were barely old enough to drink. I really do feel for parents with teenage girls these days. They're out of control.

I think the person in question attempted a joke which was in bad taste and he probably regrets it now. As usual toto has gone for the 'hung, drawn & quartered, guilty until proven otherwise' option. If only real life was as black & white as his world.

A few months back I was on the bus and two girls around thirteen we talking (very loudly) about the abortions they had recently both had. They were chatting away as through it was something everybody does all the time and that it was perfectly normal.

One girl was saying things like at first I wanted to keep it but I'd have proberbly got bored in a month and given it away, the other was saying that she'd like a kid but not until she was 15 or 16 and that she felt that 13 was a bit too young.

Then the bus passed Hillsborough park where the fair was setting up and the two girls (just like 13 yr old children do) got really excited and started planning their night out to the fair, the sleepover and stuff.

TBH felt like crying for these girls and spent the next few hours wondering when did it all go wrong?

What got me is that these girls were also taking openly about having no aspirations or dreams and seemed accepting that their life would always be **** and that there was nothing that the could do to change it. Without people wanting to better themselves and therefore society at large we are doomed to go backwards not forwards, when that happens IMO the future for us all is pretty bleak.

I think you need a few lessons in reality. It was clearly meant to be a joke. You can say it was a sick joke and question whether it was wrong to say it or not, but nobody (only you, I think) took it literally. Saying a 23 year old man WANTS a 14 year old girl is only your own interpretation.

If your definition of nice girls are ones who are blind drunk, exposing themselves to a packed disco-bar of people, shouting and swearing and then urinating in the street, then, yes, they were absolutely stunning.

Anybody see this weeks now standard 'Dole Scroungers' story in todays News Of The World (poor excuse for a paper I know)?

Link Here (http://www.newsoftheworld.co.uk/story_pages/news/news4.shtml)

DAVID: Boyfriend of Charlene. The 22-year-old only works occasionally

CHARLENE: Mum put her on the pill at 12 but she stopped taking it. Been trying to conceive since she was 14 and was upset her sister got pregnant first. Has already put her name down for a council house

LIZZY: Chainsmoking teenager, 15, was first pregnant at the age of 13, but lost her baby after a fight with a friend. Became pregnant again within a month. She wanted a baby because she was 'bored'.

How do they come up with this stuff????

You are in education I hope it`s not a teacher then.

Are you a parent did you answer that question.

Me grow up, lets see 4 children not one in trouble with police, not one takes drugs. Two older sons in the army, the next son going into police. No underage pregnancys and no sexual transmitted dieases. I don`t think I am doing a bad job as a parent do you.

I have opinions yes, and morals and respect do you?

The trouble with kids and sex nowadays is simply that they are bombarded with the subject over and over. I know kids are taught about safe sex in schools but then everywhere they look in the world around them sex is there and portrayed as being the way to do things.
I sometimes see some of the young very young single mums off the Batemoor estate, they gather at the bus stop to go into town with a pram and they look so old and haggard. I sometimes think that schools aught to invite some of these girls in to talk about what it's really like to be a mum at sixteen or less.
One other thing I've noticed is every now and then two kids are on the news because they've either become parentsor the girl is pregnant and then they're portrayed almost like hero's and heroines and a really good example as they're 'staying together'
Fashion too must be a problem as this summer [what there was of it] had huge numbers of very young girls in totally unsuitable clothing, parents don't stand a chance with the bad role models, bad fashions , bad media and bad teaching on the damage sex can cause.

I agree with Rosie over her concern about the conversation she overheard on the bus. True, many kids are having sex nowadays but it doesn't make it any less worrying that 14-year-olds are boasting about possibly causing unwanted pregnancies and helping the spread of diseases.

With the dismissive "well, its just a part of normal life isn't it" response of so many people on the forum, I'm not surprised there is still such a spread of STDs and so many abortions. But then again, unwanted babies are just another part of our "throw-away" society, aren't they?

I think the problem is that our culture is based on sex. We all know that 'sex sells' and most films and tv shows have some sex, or make sexual references. Music and magazines are also using sex, as do adverts on tv.

I don't think there is anything wrong with this, apart from the fact that so many people still seem to have trouble talking about sex. No wonder kids are messed up, they watch sex all day on tv, listen about it in songs and read about it in magazines, but they never hear their parents, or probably any adults, talk openly about it.

Maybe if we were all a bit more open about sex as a society then these boys would learn more about respecting women then feeling the need to brag and discribe girls in this way.
