Does anyone living in Kingswood Hall use Sky?

I know there is only one feed into the flats, so Sky plus by the usual method clearly won't work.

I have read about using a splitter to split the incoming feed, so you have 2 feeds of the same carrier wave so you can record one thing, or use live pause/rewind etc, or record 2/view and record if both channels are on the same wave.

Has anyone tried sky plus with one feed? What experiences have you had?

Or have you just not bothered and made do with normal sky?

I've use it was a splitter, locks up alot - crap really.
