I am interested in buying one of the Aldi special one day offers this Thursday, but its quite expensive. Was it Aldi that didn't accept credit cards in the past?

Anyone know if they do now? Or am I thinking of Netto?

Incidentally, has anyone ever taken advantage of any Aldi offers? This is for a decent spec PC. I was wondering if these offers get way over subscribed?
Are there usually big queues and little stock?

Not sure about Archer Road but I'm pretty sure that the Aldi at Carbrook (Meadowhall Retail) only takes debit cards, not credit. Also they only ever have a very limited amount of their specials and its first come, first served with no ETA on new stock.

I work near the Carbrook site, and have popped in a few times before. I think you are probably right, as the debit card thing rings a bell. Ah well, I will check it out. Shame if not, looks like a good PC !
