does anyone know what this area is like ,I have had a look around and it looks okay ,nice newish houses and quite cheap too .
I would be gratefull for any advice before I jump in and start house hunting there, thankyou .

dont really know the area, my friend lives around there and hates it though, are the houses cheap for a reason?

is pavillion way the new houses off bellhouse road just up from firth park?
if so the houses look ok and they seem to have sold pretty quick.the house prices are rising in the area all the time i had one not far from there which increased by £70,000 in 5 years

yes its like a little estate of bellhouse rd ,they look like barrett houses but i,m not sure .
It looks very nice and tidy and was very quiet when i had a look around.

Hi I live up the road on shiregreen.The houses do look nice the area is too although I would visit at different times of the day if I was buying anywhere.It is close to the secondary school and also is very busy with traffic.House prices are rising in the area.

does anyone know which secondary school is nearby ,as i dont know the area at all. thankyou for your comments .

yes they are barratt houses,there are two secondary schools close by the closest is firth park and there is also hinde house, i may be wrong but it may be in the catchment area of hinde house? as its on the border with the flower estate.

The new estate is very nice. it's quite and clean. Build quality on the houses is not great but new stuff never is and they have been up long enough for most of the problems to have been ironed out. The estate behind it is a bit dodgy and firth park shopping aresa is a bit of a dump but it has the basics (a Greggs and a pound type shop!)

Is this anything to do with the houses Northern Counties were offering for sale a while back?

i think the northern counties houses are a bit higher up bellhouse road on the same side as pavilion way.
I think i,m definatly looking into buying on pavilion way ,i,v not had any really negative comments and the house prices are really reasonable .
The shopping centre down the road in firth park looks run down but i,v been told the council are spending a lot of money regenerating the area,so house prices should rise quickly,(hopefully ).

has this area improved at all since the last posting?

there is a very large housing development which has recently started on the flower estate which is just accross the road from where you are talking about.
they will be building for the next 3/4 years which will no doubt improve the area.
