I set my tank up on Sunday with a few plants, gravel and furniture.
The tank is a Juwel Rekord 60 and came with a plastic temperature gauge which I placed at the back of the tank. It's reporting the temperature as yellow on the 26 C and green on the 25 C.
I haven't fitted the heater but I know my living room will get even warmer as summer comes along.
1. Is this too high a temperature for goldfish and should I consider tropical instead?
2. If the tank gets too warm in the summer for whatever fish end up in it, how do I cool it down?
3. I've put Aquasafe in as I did plan to get goldfish. If I swap to tropical because of the heat of the tank, is Aquasafe okay?
Regards and thanks in advance.
