Get Zone alarm and adaware. They should help.
A registry clean up tool should do the trick.
Uninstaller pro is good, but at a fee!
Thanks lickable,
Is there a certain website or shall i just find it through google?
You can probably most of the software from the Download Website (http://www.download.com)

There's also:
SpyBot Search & Destroy (http://www.safer-networking.org/en/download/index.html) and Hijack This (http://www.spychecker.com/program/hijackthis.html).
Use spybot and adaware but make sure you update them first!.
Do a full virus and trojan scan as well. Delete all your cookies and temporary internet files.
Install a program to keep spyware out in the first place. I would reccomend spywareguard and spywareblaster. All the programs listed above should be available at:
www.majorgeeks.com or:
www.download.com
1) clean and immunize with Spybot search and destroy
2) clean with Adaware
3) clean with CWshredder
4) get rid of IE and use a (more) "secure" browser. Currently FireFox is widely recommended.
5) set up your browser to use a proxy
6) throw the Proxomitron into the mix
7) either get a software firewall, or a router with built-in firewall and a software firewall
8) have an easier time on the Internet.
Please note that even with all of the above, Trojans and Spyware still manage to break through and infect your pc (although in fewer numbers). Just shows how much junk there's floating around on the Internet these days.
There are only 3 ways spyware can get on your PC from the internet.
1. Directly exploiting a vulnerability within your OS or any running server software.
2. Exploiting a vulnerability in an insecure program you use to connect to an internet service.
3. You running a program someone sends you through email or download.
So to combat each vector...
1. Switch on a firewall to stop direct connections from the Internet.
2. Stop using IE and Outlook/Outlook express. (as mentioned Firefox / Thunderbird are recommended).
3. Don't run anything sent via email and do not run files directly from the web unless you are 100% sure they are O.K.
Doing those 3 things will prevent you from getting spyware. In fact if you follow them rigidly and watch which websites you visit you can happily do without Anit-Virus or any spy-ware detectors (as I do).

Only thing not mentioned in the list of things above...
Visit windows update regularly and get all the critical updates so you can be sure that all known and patchable exploits are covered.
Windows Update:
- Open Internet Explorer
- Click the "Tools" menu header and then "Windows Update".
