Saturday: LBT class, moved rest of stuff back to parents, went out in the evening with Roop

Sunday: Lazy day. Ironing this morning. Bed this afternoon :hihi:

Been on one of my twice yearly jaunts with the guys. 15 of us crammed in a guest house in Scarborough. Fab!

Not stopped laughing/gassing all weekend. I'm exhausted!

Plus, I drove home in my new topless baby :)

You really need to get a hobby, aside from drinking :hihi:

I love vodka. Ive tried Absolut Vodka and its the best yet. I always have it with tonic, but may try it with coca cola next time. A thin slice of lemon, and ice cubes. That and a box of Magnum choc lollies, lovely.

I have the 'silver label' Smirnoff that Strix was looking for a while ago...

It's in the freezer, no sign of it freezing...

Putting coke in it would be a crime, but I wish I had some chocolate...:)

1) Have I had a good weekend?
Yes, thanks, it's been ... reasonable!

2) What have I done?
Not a great deal ... primarily decide to move to Sheffield! Unless something odd happens tomorrow I'm going to be teaching at Hallam from September. Apart from mulling that over (and before you all shout and suggest that it shouldn't take any deciding I ought to point out that the job offer wasn't exactly what I was expecting so there were some things that needed to be thought through!) I've watched bits of rugby and cricket - and the dismal England - Israel game... and went to a poetry reading this afternoon. Not something I do very often - but my mum's a poet and wanted me to buy their books!

3)Who with?
No-one worthy of the <fnar fnar> smiley, more's the pity (lol).

Well, that reference just whooshed over my head, as I haven't seen that :)

The article was hilarious really, because if you google "How to raise an A+ student" you get the same article written for the American readers digest some time ago - all they did was change the names and one or two references! Very poor journalism.

Not had the greatest weekend ever, wanted to post on this last night but the OH was sat next to me.
On friday night he went out with his mates and eventually rolled in a 4:00 am waking me up with his drunken staggering and rambling.
On saturday he spent all day in bed so I got on with some house work and spent some time on here. We were supposed to be going out on saturday night, something I'd been looking forward to all week but his hangover was so bad that he started being sick at about 6:00 so we had to cancel it.
Watched Children of Men on saturday night and was very impressed by that.
Spent most of yesterday between the forum and my new baby (xbox 360)and last night when he finally felt better I was supposed to forget that he ruined the whole weekend and fall into bed with him for..... well you can imagine.
He got a firm no and spent the rest of the night sulking while I chatted on here.
Thank god for you lot, I think I would have killed him without you.

2. Well my weekend started early... I worked Thu night then went out after work... Went to plug and got a bit silly off power-shandy...
Umm Friday I recovered, then went out with my man-friend and got even worse than the night before... but had much fun and giggles in the process!
Saturday I recovered, then scrubbed myself up to meet his family... :D Then spent Saturday night infront of the box being calm! Sunday I had to work, but made a mint and had a good time! :D
3. Already answered! :D

Next weekend will be even more hectic! arrrghhhh!

2) What have you done? Friday evening I was at Owlerton Stadium and caught up with some friends. Saturday evening Mr Godzilla and I shared a bottle of champagne because it's my birthday on Thursday and he won't be at home to celebrate with me. On Sunday I was out on Wharncliffe Craggs with the walking group. A fine walk was rounded off with a great buffet specially prepared for us at The Old Harrow Pub.

Very quiet, stayed at home, listened to the footie on the wireless Saturday evening. Bypassed the vodka (which should only be drunk straight from the freezer, Pat) and settled for a couple of bottles of cheap claret. Cheered myself up with a jar of Nutella
