Urban Gorilla is the biggest credible night in sheffield.....its winning applause on both national as well as local levels....its artistes are diverse as well as bloody fantastic!

somehow i dont see kingdom doing that...:rolleyes: if youd rather see cheese......mingdom & crasher will give you that a plentiful....:D

no no no urban is crap and as a guy i dont go to mingdom i go to gate crasher and mate ull find that its gate craher with all the publicity not urban monkeys!!! or wat ever u wanna call the dam place

Horses for courses.

Putting aside the occasional sundessential (sic) and the four crasher events each year, the republic is your typical high street club, run to a high standard. The only reason people outside of yorkshire have heard of Republic is on the basis of its crasher nights which it has marginalised, and replaced it with a mainstreet commercial night.

UG on the other hand, is music driven, people travel across the country for the music, to hear something a bit different and to dance their little socks off. If you like that type of thing, it is class.

UG at zero the new top night in sheffield. It came from the underground scene to establish itself as one of the best nights around. Crasher was big a few years ago, but i don't think it ever recovered fully from the raid in 2001. Hasn't it been reduced to once a month now when it used to be every week?
