Well I am sat here, in on a Friday night, absolutely bored out of my brains, what little I have left, and decided to go on YouTube, and started going back the years as one does on YouTube, and ended up on one of my favourite groups of the early 80`s, yes Shalamar.

Does anyone else like them ?, what was your fav song ?, I have included some from YouTube, I like them all basically.

Howard Hewitt has a amazing voice and it shows on the 2004 of the 1st YouTube link. Enjoy.

I may pretend to have this indie chick image but there's a part of me that's a disco diva as well! :D

Oooh I loved A Night to Remember. Great video too. I was too young to appreciate their talent when they were in the charts. But we did dance to their music at our disco dance class.

Now excuse me as I feel the urge to shimmy across the office and do a few grapevine moves.

Hi Pete, Night to remember is my favourite, and I still have their greatest hits tape in my car which I often still play, even my kids sing along to it. Last year
I went to Butlins at Bognor Regis for a weekend break and I couldn't believe my luck when I found out Jeffrey Daniels was one of the acts.He and his band did a storming set, that was a night to remember.
