I have always harboured a desire to enter a soapbox derby. However, on researching it a bit tonight, it seems they don't exist anymore. The last one seemed to be the Red Bull soapbox rally in Leeds.

Have they stopped doing them, has health and safety killed them off?

Please let someone tell me otherwise, apparently 40,000 people watched the 50 entrants in Leeds in 2004, now correct me if I am wrong, but thats good marketing and business.

If not, come on you business leaders out there, lets start the Sheffield Soapbox Derby.!!!
