Well, after checking with Europe, to see if it's o.k., I suppose the U.K. might feel obliged to mention it to the Iranian government, provide it doesn't upset anyone.

The incident comes as British Army Colonel Justin Masherevski, who is based in Iraq, says most of the violence against UK forces in Basra is being engineered by Iranian elements.

Col Masherevski said Iran was providing "sophisticated weaponry" to insurgents and "Iranian agents" were paying local men to attack British troops.

Hmm, stiring it up much ?

About time the SAS had another "training mission"

Just spoken to the WD to volunteer my services, but they said I am too much of a loose cannon to let me go bopping off in the desert......

Mardy buggers

The Yanks won't know, but the computers on the 12,000 Tomahawk Cruise Missiles probably will.

Well, knock me down with a feather!!!!! ;)

It turns out that the Ministry of Defence were tellong "porkies" when the 15 captured sailors were captured by the Iranians last a year or so ago. :o

BBC News 23rd March 2007 (http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/6484279.stm)

The M.O.D stated, and denied consistently that the British sailors were in Iraqi waters, despite Iran's defence being firmly of the view that they were in "disputed" waters.

The latest news on the story is that the area was, indeed "in disputed waters" and that the area concerned had been declared "Iraq's waters" unilaterally.

Also, it now appears that the Iranian's involved originally approached the British vessel without a show of arms, and only showed heavier fire-power when the Brits threatened them with guns.

If all the crap propaganda we are fed with by the M.O.D and our Government wasn't so seriously dangerous, it would be laughable!

I'm sick of the deceit, lies and lunatics running this "once-Sceptred Isle" into the ground. They are all spiv's and scumbags of the lowest "Order"!

ps I hope the 2 sailors who did a deal with the newspapers didn't put their cash into Banking or Buiding Society Shares. They were but pawns in a game of Chess! :hihi:
