Has anyone been to st lucia ? we're going in two weeks to a wedding, staying at the rex st lucian, if so what did you think of it ?

let us all know what it was like ,it is Englands base for the 2007 cricket world cup.I really fancy going out there if I can get tickets!!

Where you are going is probably the touristy north and its lovely. Good at their job etc. Generally though its a bit rural :) ; but from all acounts, safe.

Have a good time, dont be hassled by people on the beach or on the street. If you are not interested just say a polite and firm - NO thank you..with a smile.

Just got back from St Lucia & Jamaca, worst hol i'v ever had, those caribbean islands are so over rated, weathers awful, humid , hot , sticky, rainy, Jamacas filthy, Air Jamaca is the worst airline.

Met loads of nice Brits there, they didn't seem too happy either, fist time for them also, bet they don't go again, it's just one big rip off, don't want to ever see a palm tree again.

I think the remark ws made when the question of sheffco being on benefits was raised.
I may be wrong and so perhaps looked at it in the wrong way
