I was brought up in Wincobank lived on Newman Road. looking through the site brought back some memories both good and bad. I always remember a guy call Gudgie for short but his full name I think was Robert Gudrun and if memory serves me well he was murdered outside Tiffanys in Rotheram years ago. Yes I remember this happening. Although I didn't know him personally I knew him by sight. His family or at least some of them still live in Wincobank. Do you have a sister called Marie?

I am a distant relative of Robert. His death was a tradegy. Robert had the look of a football thug but it could not be further from the truth!He was a throroughly lovely man. Some of his family still live in Wincobank others are further afield. I think they will be pleased to know that people still think about Robert after all this time.
