Anyone know any good fishing tackle shops in city centre of sheffield or any online ones that will deliver in sheffield and not costs me an arm and leg? Looking to buy a new course fishing set up ready for the new year!

Have you tried Bennetts on Stanley street? They have a website too aparrantly.

Just Been onto their website and they are a bit on the pricey side.

What did you get for your £75? Was it from a known tackle manufacturer?

I got a rod, reel, box, umbrella, line, shot, hooks and he chucked in some free floats. Everything I need!! All different makes some from shakespear etc

Having a quick check on that website, it seems more expensive than Bennetts, who arn't exactly the cheapest retailers around!

Depends from where you are as to the best supplier of tackle is.
If you went to Calcotts on the wicker then trust me you have probably got a good deal.
I have been there on a few occasions when near town and have found them fairly cheap and very helpful.
I think most tackle shops in Sheffield are helpful and try to sort you out as best they can and i have found out that some might be pricey but i have never found one that would rip you off unlike some other retail outlets that could be mentioned.
Enjoy the fishing, relaxation at its finest.

Bennett's are just starting up again after the flood got a few items in but online is good calcotts have closed down more the pity but i buy a lot of tackle from billy clarke he's really good and gives advise too.good luck daz747

calcotts have closed down all the tackle from this shop is now on sale in a tackle shop in doncaster not far from the prison
