Anyone recommend a decent place in town to get a good vegetarian breakfast?
I would say recommend a place in Hillsborough, but I know that ain't gonna happen :P all we have here is pork.

There's a place opposite Howden House by the peace gardens on that street that Ha Ha Bar is on that's supposed to be pretty good. It's a sandwich shop you can sit inside.

The Globe, near Hallam Uni, does a brilliant veggie breakfast. Costs a fiver but it's absolutely huge - you don't need to eat again all day!

There's a sandwich shop next to the grapes called, errrr, Take Away.

They do proper veggie sausage! None of that mushed up broccoli crap. Better than Linda McCartney or Quorn!!!!

Blue Moon cafe? Apparently that's meant to be pretty decent.

There's a Vegan Café on Norfolk Row next door to the Coventry BS. Don't think they open until 9 am though.

Well aNTAcid didn't mention a fry up, but you could have a Chinese style stir-fry with just vegetables and olive oil or sunflower oil. SWMBO does one regulalrly for her evening meal, - smells nice but I've never been tempted to taste it.

My favourite is Safeways cafe - get it while you can!!Do NOT try Morrisons - its inedible. You used to be able to get one from Hilsborough co-op for about £2, but they weren't doing it last time I went there.

That would be perfect with a couple of rashers of bacon, a bit of fried bread, and some black pudding. and a big mug of tea of course!
