Went to Post office to post ebay gear and bought ?6 eleccy, they are white tokens.

Anyways put the fiver in and it didn't stamp it, so i puts it in again and still same no stamp. I wasn't looking @ the LCD display just kept listening for the clunk as the stamper kicked in.

20 gose later this happend

should i tell the meter place or keep the magic card and play it as long as i can get away with it , well till they replace it with one of them USB key thing one's ?

You put cards in and i got card read error slapped on the LCD, the replacement cards worked and were stamped too ?

the meter is still clocking up the eletric your using, so you will still be charged for the eletric used, as you will find out the next time they send you a statment,
it will show that you have to make up any shortfall, between the money you have payed@the post office and the eletric used.

agree with this. they know how much has been credited to your account through your payment card so your best reporting it to them or you will have ahuge bill after its all run out!

cheers i have them comming out anyways end of the month to replace it as i keep getting card read errors from time to time. If they say summat i'll tell them what went off with the meter not stamping the cards and i assumed the cards again were faulty and needed putting in a few time to get it stamped. ( which is the truth thats why they are changing it anyways as loads have reported same issues)
