I have 3 cats that need doing. That would be a bit checking asking them to microchip all wouldnt it

I might give it a miss. I cant imagine taking 3 cats! :)

Hiya been this morning they opened at 10, really helpful, had oliver chipped and frontlined, and gave me a neutring form, and some leaflets, well worth the visit, from rotherham. Highly recommend people to go, it is all free, but they do ask for a donation, they deserve every bit they can get.

Has anyone got a phone number for them? I've tried BT directory enquiries and yellow pages and I can't find a number for them. But I can find phone numbers for just about every other community centre in Sheffield!

I was just wondering whether I could turn up without my cat but make a donation for some Frontline for the next time he needs doing? Or is that really cheeky?!

i think u have to bring your pet with you, hope this helps, i couldn't get frontline for my other 2 dogs, which was left at home, they have been chipped.

We are going to take Ruby on thursday. I saw this, this morning in an old paper at work so you beat me to posting it :hihi:
So if you see a little brown dog going mad on the end of a lead and a slightly tired looking woman :hihi: then it's me and Ruby so say hello we like meeting new people and other dogs ;)

does that mean it's name is technically 'Parson Cross Park Pavilion'?

If anybody is going down there, can they see if they can do something about promoting the free neutering vouchers available through rainrescue?

staffies, rotties and the crosses of these breeds only

damnit didn't see your post till i have come home and we have already been and didn't think to say about RR :(

Was fab though very quick and efficient and has saved me nearly £200 :) . They also gave me some useful advice etc. and were happy to answer my questions. I would def. recommend going to one of these in the future if you need microchippiing, neutering etc. :hihi:

26-03-2007, 17:07
me too and let me tell you, my donation wouldnt fit in the little collection thingies on the desk so i had to put mine in the big doggie at the side of the table! well worth every penny!

It's national pet month coming up 7th April to 7th May. There are some areas that are offering a similar kind of service, although nothing in S Yorks yet :( There is still time though, I will keep checking on the website and hope that something is added.

However there is £10 microchipping for people in Chesterfield for a whole month, can be found here

http://www.nationalpetmonth.org.uk/events/event.php?region=8

EDIT... again. I noticed it was Vets4pets so phoned up the Sheffield one, they aren't taking part!
