What do you think are the most Liberal and Conservative towns or Citys in England ?

I would imagine the conservative ones are in the south ?
Liberal ones up north ?

Do you mean Liberal and Conservative or liberal and conservative?
The Liberals have quite a large group on Liverpool City Council. The Liberal Democrats run the council. The LibDems also run Newcastle and York Cities. They used to run Kingston-upon-Hull CC and Sheffield CC. I believe that the Conservatives don't run any cities outside London. They have a large group on Birmingham CC.
The Conservatives run Westminster City Council, and a couple of other London Boroughs that are Cities.

Do you mean in terms of party politics or attitudes? If politics, the opposite to Conservative is (supposedly) Labour, with the Liberal Democrats (supposedly) being in the centre. If attitudes then I would say there are many liberal places down south, e.g. Brighton, that are much more liberal in their ways to places up North.

At the 2001 General Election, Lib Dem Adrian Sanders was re-elected with over 50% of the vote and a 6,708 majority here in Torbay, so I guess that makes us Lib Dem here in the South Devon.
