i haven't seen him since last wednesday, although a couple of neighbours have seen him either thursday or friday. but i don't know what to do. he's 11 month old, little tomcat with all his boy-bits intact. so is it possible he's out with a girlfriend??
there was a cat knocked down on the nearby road but of the people that saw it they say it didn't look like alfie! whats the best thing i can do? :( :(

Is he chipped?
how long have you had him and does he usually go out lots?
Its about the right age for him to want to find girlfriends...when he comes back, suggest you whisk him off to the vets for the snip, it might curb his urges and you wont have to worry about him spray-marking in the house (one of the delights of owning an entire tom),plus, you wont be contributing to the growing number of unwanted kittens.
Hope you hear from him soon- put notices up round where you live- he might have got cosy in somebody's house or shed...

get people near you to check their sheds/garages/attics/cupboards (and you shoudl go around calling him and listening for him), and keep calling him from your house. is it possible that he's got lost? is he used to going out lots? chances are he's out looking for ...ahem... fun, but given the weather over the alst few days he's probably looked for shelter indoors, in which case you need to make a positive effort to find him and feed (and more importantly give him drinks) him properly. he's probably tried getting frisky with an elderly female belonging to an elderly female human, and got lulled into a nice warm lounge, complete with premium cat food, but you should definitely make a big effort to find him tonight and tomorrow, seeing as he's been missing for at least 3 days already.
