Hello everyone,
Just wondering if anyone knows anything about cars? My housemate has just picked up our first vehicle, a G reg VW Polo, but the wheels have started to come off (figuratively)
We live in S7, near Carterknowle Road; can anyone recommend a garage that will be able to help, and won't take advantage of our ignorance?
Thanks

Can't you just tighten the bolts up to stop them falling off?
Edgedale Garage - Edgedale rd, just nr the corner of Abbeydale rd.
Always had a good fair service when I have taken crs there in the past.

that's cool Mikey, we live on Edgedale Road and they've always looked quite friendly to me too.
anyone else used this place?
Plus have you seen the cool sign on the side advertising fax facilities? It's a communication revolution
Well just down the road then!!!
erraschen sein eine kleine Welt
This place is run by middle aged guys and they are very good. Not some chav in a baseball cap that will draw a sharp intake of breath as soon as you walk in the door.
glad to be of help:clap:

The garage on Edgedale road has been there for years and years and years so they must be doing something right.
In my dealings with garages though I've always found it helpful if I had a friend with me who could nod knowledgably when informed that the 'split pin holding your crankcase pulley wheel to the sprocket shaft is slightly worn'
Some garages will try it on a bit or a lot if they think they've got a sucker. Polo's are very reliable so hopefully whatever the problem it wont be major.
