you may ask why im up at such a ridiculous hour when ive been at work all day. Well ill tell you. Ive been downloading Life of Brian since i got back at 5.30 and it had JUST finished. The program i was getting it off crashed and it has now disappeared. Ive gone to search files and it doesnt find anything.
Does anyone have ANY idea where it could be?

Its annoying after 9 hours to have no film to watch tomorrow night (and im on broadband by the way... so it SHOULD have been much quicker - i only stuck with it cos i love the film so much)

Im annoyed and someone better help or ill go mad.

I asked a friend about this :D, he said you should have a folder called My Downloads or something similar. If it had just finished it should be in there, Have a look on your Hd for the folder, he said.

You wasted nine hours downloading a mediocre quality video from the net?

For a film of such calibre you should have got the DVD. Most places sell it for less than a tenner and you get all the extras.

Well its not bad quality actually which is probably why it took so long - i just wanted something to watch on the laptop so i could watch it when i was on holiday or on my travels etc.

Anyway i found the file eventually after doing another file search and yeah it was in my downloads or something like that.

Mike - I was using a very good application beginning with K but i shan't advertise such evil, illegal programs cos that would be bad of me.

Sorry, don't use Kazaa, but I reckon it'll have a settings menu somewhere where it'll tell you where it puts downloaded files, and it might be worth searching the program files directory where it lives for any incomplete files.
