Well it was the first day open this season and although it kept hailing/snowing and stopping this morning, it brightened up so we decided to go.... got most of the way there and it started chucking it down, got there to find all but about 3 burger vans had gone, anyone else as daft as us? I didn't know it closed after bad weather as it has been crap weather when we have been before?! Maybe it was worse there than it was here? Don't blame them but was so disappointed! Thing is, it birghtened up again as we drove back!
Ah well there's always next week!

Not me, I went to the east coast for the weekend, to get the caravan ready for the season. It was a nice day yesterday, but very blustery today. Didn't see anybody in the sea either:thumbsup:

some people can't take a little rain these days. We have done a bit of trading there in the past and it's not uncommon to be packing up at 2pm if the weather is rubbish. It's not like it used to be anymore, but on the plus side the fewer psople there does make it easier to walk around.

I like Thoresby Market when its the middle of the Summer, and they have nice fruit stalls there.

i did. i got up to a bright day to which then was hail/snow but we risked it anyway. after being unsure of the way there anyway we finally got there around 12.30 to find a couple of burger vans and the sun shining. we ended up finding a little pub on the way back to have dinner.
