CHAIRBOY 18-03-2007, 16:19 Aston Villa v Liverpool was an awful match, nearly won at the death by substitute Fowler. The improvement in Aston Villa since O'Neill came is minimal. I think Young is a waste of time - his passing, crossing a ball behind the goal was much as it was in the Watford v Villa game, when he was a Hornet. I think Villa should have had a penalty but that was ironic as Petrov was moving AWAY from goal. He was certainly fouled and it was as much a penalty as the one Tevez earned at Blackburn. CorkerSWFC 18-03-2007, 18:51 Yes do you mean the finnan one defo pen, and your right about ashley young he looked less than average today, martin o neil seemed to be happy from the first minute to take a point from today game against liverpool, as did liverpool really, as the commentator said "liverpool are in european mode". Theres quite a few players who you could say played well below par today aswell, GERRARD,CARRAGHER,SISSOKO HASN,T BEEN THE SAME SINCE HE CAME BACK,AND DIRK KUYT HAS GONE WALKABOUTS. CorkerSWFC 19-03-2007, 00:18 after all said and done the charlton newcastle match was decent in the end, seems to be a common trend at the minute. Crap first halfs, sweet scond halfs. |
