:help: My adventurous ginger cat has managed to get in the house two doors down from us and is stuck inside. I wouldnt worry so much but I noticed him miaowing yesterday morning and I thought the owner would be back but he isnt. Hobees may have been in there for two or three days now because I didnt see him the day before yesterday either. I only noticed him yesterday because he was making a noise and as the attic window was open so he was on the roof. My next door nieghbour tried calling him from his attic window (they are all dormers) but he tried to come across and slipped because the roof tiles are so smooth.
The guy who lives there may well be back tonight but Im worried that if he isnt, has the cat eaten or drunk anything in the last few days? I was thinking about caling the rspca (his attic window is still open) but does anyone have any other suggestions? Thanks and :help:

Does a neighbour have a key? Our neighbours have one for emergencies.

Yeah, that's your best bet if the house owners have left no contact details. Put it this way, not only is your cat stuck, but their house is becoming a litter tray! They will be grateful to you for getting the cat out!

Good luck x

yep, the rspca, they will probably throw some food in through the letter box or get the police to break in

I knew this would happen as soo as I posted on the forum...The owner returned and in ran a very hungry cat  He's snuggled up on the sofa now away from this horrible weather! At least I know now what to do if that ever happens again. Thanks again everyone

yeahyeah. Let me explain to others: Neil was building a wicked raised bed for me outside the other day and Hobbes was sitting on the fence post supervising in a very haughty way :hihi:

Well it's not often cats get to supervise the building of their own litter tray!:hihi:

Glad your cat is back- we lost our ol moggie 'Oscar' once for 2 weeks and had no idea where he was of if he was still alive- turned out he was locked in the cellar of a house further up the street- he didnt make a sound and it was only when one of the students ventured into the cellar that he was spotted, tucked into the space in front of the air brick- the vet said he was very lucky to be alive and had survived by licking the salt from the bricks...It didnt do him any lasting damage - he lived to about 14 and he never went wandering into other people's houses after that.
