Does anybody out there in forum land know any good tutors that take on extra tuition for students in the subjects of science and maths.

One of our kids has just had some results come back and we were wanting to consider some extra tuition for her.

We have contacts within the education world but they are connected to a younger age group.

Anybody out there got any suggestions or recommendations.

Drop me a PM and I will try and pick them up this week.

The school are putting her in for some re-sits in June so could do with some work before then.

Cheers and thanks for looking.

Advertise at the uni,

You could get someone like me who does Physics (Ie science and maths).

Or you could ask your school if there is any available help.

Is there a Kumon (http://www.kumon.co.uk/) Centre in Sheffield?

They specialise in Maths & English, with fantastic results :)
My Mum was a Kumon Instructor for about 8yrs (in Kent) and I can vouch for the fact it works wonders! ;)

beat me to it! looks like i have competition....

it's ok, i shall step away from the potential income, as i was only going to offer biology tuition anyway. i suspect you (zweena) can offer more than that.

Nah, just biology. But it don't half sound rude!
