I noticed the "To Let / For Sale" signs up yesterday. Its in a great location and I have good memories in my younger years in there, would be great if someone opened it back up into some sort of club.

What do you reckon the asking price will be ?

Also used to go there 3/4 years ago...

It's too far a walk home from that place. I only have memories of not being able to get a Taxi and blisters when I woke up.

Well no one is going to buy that to run it as club!! The location was always suicidal, and the company who built it needed their heads examining!! Daft location, they might as well built a nightclub on top of Mam Tor!!

Perhaps it will make an excellant cinema, or casino.

It would make a good Casino, excellent idea.

Out of interest, just to see what ludicrous price they are asking, who are the estate agents?

-Indoor activities (Wall climbing/ Abseiling(sp)/ Go-karts/ Pool/ Snooker etc)
-Brannigans owner could buy and make one big super club! With casino, nightclub, gentlemans club, hotel etc etc.. ;)

yeah i did have a stoney on......but scrapping in a £230 jumper was never on my mind..just wanted a few beers and a bit of choonage....but it wasn't to be and i never went back

I hope someone buys it despite it's location. People used to diss the place but i had some great nights in Wow and in my eyes beat Kingdom hands down as far as "Superclubs" go.

Be intresting to find out what much it is

I think it would do well as a nightclub especially how busy attercliffe gets theese days.

i agree it should not be bought to make into a club

but you say the location is suicidal??
i beg to differ,
look at pulse when that was down there, was very popular
and thats before the tram links came in to place (i believe)
