I noticed the "To Let / For Sale" signs up yesterday. Its in a great location and I have good memories in my younger years in there, would be great if someone opened it back up into some sort of club.

Robbie Loving 26-10-2004, 07:00 sorry, gonna have to agree with lestat on this one D2J 26-10-2004, 07:21 Never said I had great memories of the place.. Just the memories of being in there at times  mr.blaze 26-10-2004, 07:30 It's too far a walk home from that place. I only have memories of not being able to get a Taxi and blisters when I woke up. goldenfleece 26-10-2004, 08:33 Well no one is going to buy that to run it as club!! The location was always suicidal, and the company who built it needed their heads examining!! Daft location, they might as well built a nightclub on top of Mam Tor!! Perhaps it will make an excellant cinema, or casino. nick2 26-10-2004, 08:35 It would make a good Casino, excellent idea. goldenfleece 26-10-2004, 08:54 Out of interest, just to see what ludicrous price they are asking, who are the estate agents? kirky 26-10-2004, 09:07 never been in..went once got refused entry..they reckoned i was a football hooligan:confused:    mr.blaze 26-10-2004, 09:15 That will be the Stone Island jumper then Kirky :P nick2 26-10-2004, 09:17 Originally posted by kirky never been in..went once got refused entry..they reckoned i was a football hooligan:confused:    You didn't miss much, except the teenage girls fighting, which were often very amusing. GazB 26-10-2004, 09:20 -Casino -Club -Gentlemans club -Theatre -Car Showroom -Hotel -Small sports centre -Indoor activities (Wall climbing/ Abseiling(sp)/ Go-karts/ Pool/ Snooker etc) -Brannigans owner could buy and make one big super club! With casino, nightclub, gentlemans club, hotel etc etc.. ;) -I have other ideas, it's just too early to think of them! nick2 26-10-2004, 09:22 When you say "gentlemens club" do you mean "strip club" ? People used to diss the place but i had some great nights in Wow and in my eyes beat Kingdom hands down as far as "Superclubs" go. Be intresting to find out what much it is pitsmoor 26-10-2004, 17:12 I think it would do well as a nightclub especially how busy attercliffe gets theese days.
