Did anybody catch the article in the Sheffield Telegraph at the weekend re : regeneration of the whole area around the Ski Village and the new college at Hillsborough.. What does everyone think cable cars to Shirecliffe etc...

It sounds very exciting but will any of it happen??

They could have developed Shirecliffe college, if they hadn't demolished it.

I know what you mean but they obviouslly got more £££'s for selling it for Housing Development...

Never mind with the cable car perhaps Shirecliffe will get it's place on the Sheffield map.. (lookout Heights of Abraham)

Some of the schemes do sound as though they are a much needed investment to this area... Just hope they get done and don't become the usual hyped projects that never develop...
