I tend to be a pupil from the Quentin Crisp school of hygiene..............after 8 years, the dust doesn't get any worse.

I was like that but since my illness has got worse i have not done much.Plus when other half is home he wrapps me in cotton wool cos of my condition and demands i rest.I am a very house proud person. And although my other half does his best at keeping on top of things he just does not do it as good as me.He is a angel though.glad my house is in spot on clean conditon now cos it was driving me mad.charlie x x

P.s. im sure other half won't be amused i have over done it when he gets home.lol.Glad he goes to work or i would never be able to do anything. He means well though.

I did mine yesterday, I started with a cobweb that had been annoying me for weeks and just couldn't stop.

My flat's been in the process of being refurbished for weeks, which has meant turning the place upside down and inside out, so as everything gets put back it's all getting a good clean. I've even painted the insides of my built-in cupboards, which sounds anal, but has made a huge difference. I've cleared loads of crap out, and am redecorating throughout. What's wierd is how physically knackering it all is, because it doesn't appear to be a very physical job! I couldn't do it every year, though. Once a decade is enough!

But it will look brilliant when its all done, and you won't have to redecorate or even do a proper clean for aaaaaaaaaaages!

I started painting one room yesterday, and I hate DIY. I just keep visualising the finished result.
