Just got a flat with my b/friend and we need things such as fridge cooker wasker etc, where are the best places to get these from that dont cost a ortune?

I got appliances from Asda and Argos... Argos delivery is only about a fiver too...

I looked in Argos book and roughly looking at £200 each for fridge cooker and washer.

try freecycle

or put a wanted ad on here?

i also look at gumtree, that's private sellers

depends if you want brand new or not really.

Dont go to Argos they are very expensive for white goods. We got our fridge/freezer from Curry's £200 Hotpoint, it was on sale though. Try Comet they are good or Factory Shack.

Co-op also good. Basement of town centre store, or the Hillsbro one too.

Hi, I bought my carpets from carpet right, lovely quality and good price. However, fitters! One of em had been with company for short while and was left to fend for himself. After about 6 months there were ridges in carpet because it hadn't been stretched properly at fitting. They also claimed that I hadn't told the shop that one of the carpets was for stairs and landing. They must get paid extra for this fitting because they had a right ol groan.

try west end carpets in eckington. extremely cheap includes underlay etc.
try ad mag for second hand stuff or the power place @ darnall.

We're in this position as well. Our mates dad bought from - believe it or not - Boots.

Apparently he shopped around and looked at what he liked. Cross checked with boots to see if they had the product and bought. They delivered within a few days and the best bit, he got points on his boots card :hihi:
