I'm sure there are two  Anyway does anyone know how reasonable their prices are? I'm thinking of going and having a look but I can't stand buses so it would have to be worth my while going :D

there are three, different stals,on different floors in the market, actually that I can remember,

there's a very small one, along the upper level (as you go in by the record stall) which seems to do mostly knitting supplies, (yarn, paterns and needles/hooks) withthe odd craft kit, here and there. there's "habiknit" in the middle of the meat and fish hall, which does a bit more, rugs/ canvases as well as other haberdashery supplies. (sister stall to one by the upper entrance of the l**ds indoor market)

then down on the lower floor, on the back wall, there's the "original" haberdashers/ craft/ knitting stall, that's been there twenty or thirty years, which has now spread out to occupy three stalls adjacent to each other. you can get sewing supplies, stamping stuff..

Are you referring to Castle Square market? I think there is one at Crystal Peaks as well.

Do they sell fabrics too?

There is no market in Castle Square. there's a Pub, and a tram stop, and a newsagent...

There's an open-air market on The Moor. That has a craft stall, but I'm not sure what days the stall is there.

The Castle Market, as I already said, in my previous post, has three stalls.

Esbergers used to have a stall in the centre of Crystal Peaks indoor market. There is still a stall in the re-vamped CP market, but not sure if Esbergers still run it. I know you can buy fabric from there, but not sure how much "craft-y! stuff they do.

My mistake, I'd always thought that it was called Castle Square market because the nearest tram stop was called Castle Square.

The craft stall at Castle Market isn't very big, but it does have a good selection of card making items including paper punches, brass stencils, card, rubber stamps. I bought a long reach square punch for about £8 and a card scoring board for £7.
I've seen the same scoring board for £8.50 elsewhere so I would say that prices were reasonable.

nearest tram stop for the market is Fitzalan Square.

the habiknit stall does have a reasonable selection of stuff.

The sister stall, in l**ds city markets is even bigger!
