View Full Version : MUFC vs Arsenal TMRW!!!
Its about time we whipped some Gooner Arse again!
Just hoping Fergie dosent cock about with the team again..
Hopefully it will be:
Carroll
Neville G : Silvestre: Ferdinand: Heinze
Ronaldo: Keane: Giggs
Van Nistelrooy: Smith: Rooney
1-0 my prediction to us (MU)
and I have a feeling it will be a Smithy goal in the 2nd half...
Roll on 4pm tmrw!
Is it on the TV or Sky ???
It's on Sky Sports1 coggy.
I don't think Fergie will play Smith. I think he will play Scholes in midfield with Rooney playing just behind the Van man.
I'm a Blade but i can't wait for this one!.
It's hard to bet against Arsenal at the minute. I think their Midfield will overpower Man Utd.
I see an Arsenal win or a draw.
Robbie Loving 24-10-2004, 09:50 well, i think in my eyes, there is only one team to bet on
ARSENAL
what a team, so swift and attacking..... hmmmmm id love to see that down at the lane!!
did you see the odds for villa to win at highbury last week?
10/1 OH MY GOD
i never thought i would such odds in the prem,
we put a fiver on it, you know for a cheeky bet, and when villa scored first, thought our luck was in!!
but typically arsenal ripped them to shreds and should have been in double figures apparently
Arsenal will win 2-1.
Henry and Pires will score for Arsenal in the second half, Rooney will score for Man Utd in the first and Keane will get sent off.
Lol I'd like to bet that Keane gets sent off.
And so the unbeaten run comes to an end.. :hihi:
Arsenal were robbed... but i suppose it had to come to an end. Who would have thought Alan Smith would have been in both the last two sides to beat Arsenal, eh?
Arsenal looked a different class to Man Utd, they play the ball about with ease, one or two touches, and the build pressure well. Man Utd tend to rely on the few really decent players they have to run with the ball, but it doesn't seem to working that well for them at the moment.
Maybe this will change Man Utd's season now... once they catch Bolton they'll be flying.
You could say Arsenal were a tad unlucky.
I've seen Pires doing similar antics in the area though, so I suppose it's cheaters justice?
It seems Arsenal were trying to initiate a food fight in the tunnel. :D

I don't know how Wenger had the cheek to say Nistleroy should have been sent off when Henry blatantly jumped over Heintz and kicked him in the head.
I have to agree, Arsenal are a class above ManUtd at the moment but it was nice to see them beaten.....at last.
Robbie Loving 26-10-2004, 07:09 problem is now, rooney now will be known as a diver by refs!!
think it was a big mistake by himself
lol Mike Riley has awarded 8 penalties in 8 matches at Old trafford.... wonder if they're all for united :P

99% of players dive though when they get the chance in the area. Sadly it's part of what football has become (lol this is from my grandad), you won't be able to even tackle in the area soon...
How long before football is officially named a 'non contact sport'?.
when man utd win the premiership again
... AND surprise surprise we have been drawn with Arsenal again in the cup.
FIX!
Same as last year-- once again we end up playing Arsenal... still.. we beat them once this season Im sure we will do it again!
