I took up golf a couple of years ago and due to personal circumstances rarely played last year.

I moved down to Sheffield from Bradford and have just booked my first golf lesson in Sheffield to start to play again. As you can imagine I am not very good but would be interested in finding other women in the area in a similiar position who would like to play 9 holes every now and then! Not interested in playing with great golfers though (no offence) as I will feel like a complete twit when I botch up. Anyone from beginner to just beyond would be great though..

Hi, I just moved to Sheffield. I played sometimes golf when I was younger (well....8 years ago...uiuiui). However I am interested in at least trying again!
And playing 9 holes every now and then sounds perfect (although my shoes and everything I have left in Germany - grrrrrrr)
