There is a pelican crossing at the tram stop (Deepend) which has both the tram line and two way traffic running through it.
Pedestrians can cross on the usuall green man, however there is no lights telling the car driver to stop when the green man lights up, infact theres no lights at all or no warning signs either apart from the plaque telling pedestrians to look both ways.
I find this quite dangerous because the pedestrians would persumewe know the green man is on but the reality is a driver would not see it.
Anybody else had problems due to this.

Yes, I've been pestering Highways to put a repeater light on the crossing itself. Drivers are "supposed" to stop at the light on the traffic island on the town side of Forbes Road, but there are times when drivers have gone through that light at green, and it changes to red before they have gone through the whole of the junction.

isnt there a sign just before the crossing that says all traffic turn left, the police have told me that technically only the bus, tram and taxies plus of course emergency vehicles are allowed through,im left in a quandry as i see traffic going through but its deemed illegal so what do i have to do to be legal, about a mile run round holme lane up to the one way system turn back on myself come back down holme lane just to get to my opticians, biggest cock up in traffick management ever
