And if so, WHY?

A few years ago I was editing a film script that was in pre-production. I was a rather nice 'black comedy' and the writers had a character in there called Kenny G, purely so they could have the line 'Oh no, you've killed Kenny G!' in it....

This was when South Park was first kicking around. It raised a smirk with me, anyway! :)

And if so, WHY?

I like the skit they did in Waynes World 2 about him where they likened listening to Kenny G to Root Canal treatment.

When the Queen Mother died, did Radio 1 play Kenny G for ages, as the (no doubt apocryphal) story told us it would?
