I thought the stucture was unsafe? Still even from here it will look pretty cool if they do...

Keppel's Column! Lying on the fringes of Sheffield and Rotherham, and the namesake of the main building at Ecclesfield Comprehensive School.

The last I heard the structure was condemned; a definite folly. Perhaps some resident of Thorpe Hesley wanted to climb to the moon.

PS Liking the Klingon badge, Honeyplanet... my god, I'm sad...

I did'nt realise that it was in such a bad state. can't see them being able to trim it up. Hope they dont let it fall into total ruin it seems to happen to so many lovley structures and buildings these days
