View Full Version : FA Cup Semi Finals Guderian 12-03-2007, 13:45 Blackburn v Spurs/Chelsea Watford v Man Utd/Boro Oh go on. I'll say it. WEMBLEY!!! WEMBLEY!!! willman 12-03-2007, 13:47 so potentially two major cup finals between Man Utd and Chelsea. Guderian 12-03-2007, 13:50 It had to be a fix really. FA couldnt have their shiny new stadium playing host to Watford or Blackburn!! Ally68 12-03-2007, 13:50 I think Blackburn vs boro would be a great final  tosh13 12-03-2007, 14:49 it's going to be Man Utd & Chelsea cannot see it any other way ,but it would be great for the smaller clubs to get to the final-Blackburn & Boro. Gypsy Hack 12-03-2007, 15:21 it's going to be Man Utd & Chelsea cannot see it any other way ,but it would be great for the smaller clubs to get to the final-Blackburn & Boro.I think Spurs may have something to say about that. Robbie Loving 12-03-2007, 15:33 I think Spurs may have something to say about that. They had their say yesterday. and ruined it. Gypsy Hack 12-03-2007, 15:41 They had their say yesterday. and ruined it.They've played Chelsea twice this season. They've scored five past them, winning one and drawing one. They've scored twenty goals in their last six games, five of which have been away from home. Since Brammall Lane, they've been pretty much the form team in England. This doesn't mean they'll knock Chelsea out. It does mean that the result's hardly a foregone conclusion, though. Robbie Loving 12-03-2007, 15:50 This doesn't mean they'll knock Chelsea out. Whilst yes i agree with you in principal, i just feel that spurs had their chance against them, and will now suffer the consequences.... soi to speak Gypsy Hack 12-03-2007, 15:56 Whilst yes i agree with you in principal, i just feel that spurs had their chance against them, and will now suffer the consequences.... soi to speakIt largely depends on how they manage to remotivate themselves after Chelsea's comeback. If they dwell on it, they're out. If not, then I'll back Spurs at White Hart Lane. daftlad 12-03-2007, 19:56 It had to be a fix really. FA couldnt have their shiny new stadium playing host to Watford or Blackburn!! definite fix BasilRathbon 13-03-2007, 14:04 definite fix The whole FA Cup draw this season has seemed remarkably benevolent to Chelsea and Man Utd. Virtually all their cup ties have been home draws; Chelsea's against lower league teams, Man U's against the dross of the Premiership. I'm sure it's sheer coincidence that the pattern is repeated for the semis. ;) Clare85 13-03-2007, 14:11 Like to see Watford get through. Blackburn will win. Easy!!!! Gypsy Hack 13-03-2007, 14:45 I'm sure it's sheer coincidence that the pattern is repeated for the semis. ;)Nothing to do with the fact that, statistically speaking, they only had a 1 in 3 chance of being drawn to play each other in the first place? ReginaldD 14-03-2007, 21:43 Watford V Balckburn in the final It would be like an old fashioned cup final, all competitive, knowing for once one of the big four weren't going to win..............It'd be great. spangler 15-03-2007, 10:39 [QUOTE=BasilRathbon;2042400] Man U's against the dross of the Premiership. I object - Pompey are hardly dross!!!!!! Up the Spurs I say - I'm sick of Chelsea's posturing and whinging. I disagree it would be pants i don,t mind blackburn but you can,t get much more unfashionable than Watford, remember this game goes out to all the world we don,t want people thiking all english people wear ill fitting jeans lol LFCMadPaul 15-03-2007, 17:09 [QUOTE=BasilRathbon;2042400] Man U's against the dross of the Premiership.
