If anyone has anything to do with Yewlands School, i am interested in hearing from you.
I am looking for photos etc.
Have you seen the Yewlands School Past Pupils Website. Its fantastic!
They have had problems in the last few weeks, but it will be back to its former glory soon.

Which part of sheffield? around Parsons Cross there was Magalaga and his band of merry men and up Foxhill was a brother of a lad that I went to school with, he went on the CB and was known as Animal, his brother was Dean Wade who is no longer with us, I was just too young to be in the cult which was reintroduced through Quadraphinia if memory serves. I can remember going to Skeggy and being in ore of the well dressed mods and there immaculate scooters. a couple of years later became a bit of a boot boy myself but the trend was already dying at this point. I worked with a lad from Rotherham some years later that was also a MOD, his name was Tony Parkin, he raced 125 scooters in fact his best mate was killed on one, any of these names ring any bells? I no not were any of these lads are now but I am 40 so they must be nocking on a bit now.
I was at fox hill .we would sit on the park or fox hill shops.i think thay was a Dean Wade he was older than me if its the same one he went out with a friend mum(friend was Nicola cross) well im younger than you .

Went to Yew Lane as it was known then from 1958 to 1962. History teacher was Mr Mitchell, science was Mr Topham and we had an art teacher who drove a Messerschmitt three wheel car. I remember class mates Reg wilson , Trevor Kay and Leslie Rudge.
