View Full Version : Prince Harry's scuffle with Paparazzi
So, Prince Harry was involved in a scuffle with a paparazzi which ended up with the paparazzi getting a cut lip.
Good for him I say. It is what the paparazzi scum deserved.

I dare say i have done a lot worse than that when i was Harry's age.
I noticed all the paparazzi sticking together on the news, making out there all innocent?. Is there any wonder the poor lad has a problem with them anyway!.
I know if the paparazzi had a part in my mothers death, i would want to do more than push the camera in his face!. He would have had some really nice photo's of his rectum, from the inside....
It's about time we had someone in the royal family showing some 'balls' anyway.
In many ways the paparazzi need to treat getting walloped as an occupational hazard.
Years ago to say you were a freelance photographer when applying for certain types of insurance immediately got you a higher premium.
Harry's in a dodgy position, though - sooner or later someone is going to start bleating the 'one rule for us, one rule for the Royals' song. I'm not a great supporter of the Royal Family in terms of their position in modern society, but do feel for the guy. However, he needs to remember that his lifestyle is going to be of interest to people - for whatever reason - and that if you want a quite drink away from it all you don't go to a top London night spot frequented by other celebs and thus likely to be a hunting ground for photographers.
Joe
Yes, it must be terrible for the lad... Bottomless pits of money, birds draped off him, life of riley...
It isn't nice for anyone to lose a parent, but his mother used the press at every given opportunity. There has never been a bigger media whore before or since.
As for Harry, if he doesn't want to live in the public eye I suggest he denounces his royalty. However, he is a celebrity of sorts, so if he wants to come rolling out of clubs at three in the morning, he has to expect the same treatment as JK, the lads from Blue, and all that lot... And lamping cameramen, especially one who wasn't actually hassling him, is not going to do him any favours. Once you get on the wrong side of the press, they can manipulate how you look in the mass media and turn you into nothing.
Look at Hearsay!
I think maybe a little less liberal-soapboxing is in order.
I have to agree with you about Diana.
Getting mixed up with the shady Al-Fayed clan, who employ drivers that drink, do drugs and drive at 100mph+ in built up areas is asking for trouble.
She chose to move away from the safer official security arrangements of Buck House. She died as a result of not wanting people to take a photo. Silly death really.
Photographers only work on the principle of supply and demand.
Harry probably isn't one of the brightest of buttons in the box either. He knows he's not really got a role so he's likely to go off the rails if he takes no notice of the advice given to him.
Who's his role model? John Prescott.

Err, are you accusing Lickszz of liberal soap-boxing?
I've always wished that Harry or William would somehow do the stereotypical teenage early twenties thing and get roped into left wing politics. I'd have loved Wills to have joined the SWP and denounced his right to the throne….wasnt to be.
Harry whacking a photographer, hmmm, if I done it wouldn’t I be up on an assualt charge?
The Royals always get off regardless?

Exactly..... and I don't know about you, but I had to do my own work when I did O Level art. I didn't get any help.
It must be hard if hard if he isn't as clever as he is expected to be. Must get it from his mum.

I think this site in general can breed quite a lot of liberal soap-boxing. Likewise there can be a little bit too much right wing ranting.
I think there is a difference between discussion and what is tantamount to a written version of what can be seen on Trisha every day of the week.

Wouldn't that mean he was actually being prosecuted and jusged by his owm grandmother (via the Crown Prosecution service)? maybe they just took a shortcut and she told him off at Buck House
I can't imagine being kept at your granny's pleasure would be a lot of fun. It's bad enough going round for a cuppa on Sunday afternoons.

It's the stuff forums are made of. The forum provides people with a platform to have their say whether you agree with it or not.
Having seen innocent dog poo conkers posts mysteriously disappear, I have my doubts.
