There used to be a long running series on for children during the summer holidays called 'Silas'. It was about a gypsy boy who had lots of adventures as he travelled through Europe (I think).

If anyone can find a link to it, I'd appreciate it, as I've tried to find it but without any luck.

I remember this, it was the TV series that went on for a long, long time. I've just done a search for it and there are several versions, I think the one I'd have seen was the one made in 1968 and then aired during the early 80's on childrens tv.

I remember the episode when Heidi sleepwalks when theres a full moon and her grandfather finds her outside. Also remember Peter being jealous of the other girl in the wheelchair (what was her name?? ), and chucking it down the mountainside LOL!!:hihi:

Katia Polletin was the name of the girl that played Heidi.

I think that was the series made in 1978, although there might have been 3 series.

It did seem to go on forever.

I still can't find any clips or the theme tune though.
