:) well said m8. apparently the next storylines going to be where the token yorkshire bloke & the grandkid he looks after [you know the 1 who looks like he's just stepped outta micheal jacksons thriller video] break into the queen vic & spike the barrels with l.s.d. then start a religous cult headed by dot & the reverand jim branning who discover that phils son [the milky bar kid lookalike] is in fact the new messiah & embark on a quest to ressurect pauline [& spit the dog] but it turns out that phils son is in fact the antichrist & the real new messiah is the child dawns carrying.phils son enlists the help of waywood uncle grant [who as we all know was bitten by a vampire some years ago, which explains why all the birds in albert square swoon when he walks in the boozer]& all kinds of mayhem ensue,which i'm assured by the bbc will keep viewers rivited for the next few weeks & make doctor who look like a kids program by comparison.apparantly robert deniro was gonna play the [cockney] van helsing type figure to sort this whole mess out,but after spending a few weeks on set had to retreat back to hollywood to see a real analyze this type doctor.stay tuned for more soap gossip.

VERY rubbish.

What Eastenders tries, and fails miserably to do IMO, is to be Coronation Street in London... Think about it, the central location is a Pub, the glut of the main storylines feature in said Pub, just like Corrie, only not as good.

And no, I am not an avid Corrie fan.

both eastenders and coronation street have gone down hill lately, emmerdales the same aswell, they prelong the stories far too much.

Only reason I watch Emmerdale is cos I *ahem* fancy Chas Dingle :blush:

Indeed it's the one with the she-man Pat Butcher.. Teh other one's Trumpton, that's on Nick Jr on Sky every night at 8.15 PM, I watched it the other night cos I was channel surfing and saw it on the lineup, it hasn't aged too badly in 40 years IMO.
