View Full Version : What to wear for hotpants? motherhen 08-03-2007, 19:33 Thanks to EdnaKrabappe who put me on to the hen night package at MacDonald St Pauls hotel! We're off there, which includes entry to hotpants - not been before, what do people wear? Do most get into the 70's gear or not? What about jeans - are they OK or should I tell the girls to steer clear and make more of an effort! EdnaKrabappe 08-03-2007, 19:46 Hi motherhen! But equally I never have - I'm a jeans and t shirt kind of girl. You will be fine in anything you wear there! Get dressed up though and have a laugh! And don't worry about drinking in the pubs beforehand. People are used to seeing random people in 70s gear in Sheffield - they will just know where you are going! Grappler 09-03-2007, 14:37 If you are going in a gang then get dressed up, it's a great laugh, just get out on that dance floor and strut your funky stuff like it's 1977 all over again! discovery 09-03-2007, 14:52 Hotpants is totally top banana and you can buy sparkly hats and boingy head things near the entrance area. Its a great night out and if you go in a bit earlier say 10.30ish, you get to strutt your stuff on the John Travolta style chequered disco floor in the middle! Some people get dressed up but there are a lot that don't. They also play quite a few 80's songs as well, its just like stepping back in time. Enjoy! |
