Jade Goody has been shortlisted for the Celebrity Mum Of The Year Award by the catalogue firm Grattan.
Among the 20 nominees are Kate Moss and Heather McCartney, both of whom have made news recently for their questionable behaviour.
A spokesperson for Grattan said regarding Goody's inclusion: "Her big mouth got her into trouble, but the nation still thinks she is a mum to admire."
The list also includes three out of the five Spice Girls - Victoria Beckham, Geri Halliwell and Melanie Brown.
Sharon Osbourne, who won the award last year, has failed to make the shortlist.

well, i never commented on whether or not i thought her a good parent or role model - i was simply perplexed about why her appearance seemed to be so important to you, therefore i naturally edited the superfluous section to which i was not referring ...
My mum is the mum of the year..17 years running. Honestly!

You seemed perplexed at why her appearance seemed so important?... OK, lets take this a step at a time. Firstly she became semi-famous for being a thicko on Big Brother, Secondly she became even more famous for out-doing Miss Piggy in the facial department. Most newspapers, radio programmes, magazines, TV programmes refer to her as this and to be honest most of the public ( worldwide ) think this way now, not just me.
Jade is, of course, now most famous for being foul-mouthed, pig-ugly and a racist.
I cannot see how this woman ( if indeed it is a woman ) can be nominated for such an award when there are so many other decent people out there deserving of it!
Oh, did I mention she was ugly as sin?:)
