Yeah I remember it, every time we went past I thought "will have to go in there one day",then it was gone. I think there are other OK diners around the country, seen one at a service station somewhere!

Wasn't it one of those that arrives on the back of a truck and all you have to do is connect everything up. The food was OK but it wasn't the cheapest. Probably in the wrong location. They could have one now near Meadowhall and it would make a fortune. Passed one the other week on the A55 just past Chester.

That place was bizzare. Was driving from Hillsborough to Chapeltown one day and there it was, out of nowhere - full of customers. By the time we were driving back to Hillsborough later that evening, it was completely gone without a trace!

Thought I imagined it.

I went in once.
The waitresses all had Name Badges with strange American type names like 'Pinky' and 'Jolene'
Our waitress was called 'Clint' and when I asked her if it was her real name she said 'No, I was last one in this morning'

Yes I remember it. It didn't seem to last 2 minutes. I too never had the chance to go.

Went there myself quite often, yes it wasn't the ceapest but the size of the meals made up for it. They did a brilliant club sandwich. It did arrive on the back of a wagon in' I think, three modules that were craned off and hooked up. The nearest one to Sheffield is near Newark on the A1. If we're ever in the area we call in, it is identical to the one that was on Halifax Rd, might even be the one. They have a web site somewhere with a map of locations but it is hard to find, it doesn't google.
